Which netbook for ecuflash and evoscan?

My old IBM laptop got stolen last week . I am looking to buy a netbook. Anyone using these with good results? Are these small netbooks good to handle ecuflash and evoscan logging? My budget is max $350.

I use a Dell mini and it works great. Run both ecuflash and evoscan on it. Works like a champ its become my new favorite, using it right now to post this. The size is uber convinient as well

i tried to use one, but the screen (10.4 inch) seemed to be to small and the resolution wasnt good. I would recommend something with 11.3+ screens (1366x768 dots) and at least 2 usb ports.

I've got the Toshiba one for about $300. Works great for me with the latest versions of EcuFlash, EvoScan and Office 2007 running XP. I don't mind the screen size even with big maps. Uber battery life and motion sensor to save the HD from pot holes!

I use a 10" ASUS EEEPC, and I love it. I paid like 330 or so for it and I've had it for quite a while.

This is why I dont like most netbooks. Not enough resolution to fit maps and log graphs on one screen.

Netbooks are good to roll around with if you need ot adjust something really quickly but if you are making a bunch of changes then you really need a bigger laptop (Think accounting with a small *** screen with a ton of spread sheets).

Windows 7 64 and ECUFlash works fine. At least on my laptop.

I use a Dell 11z with Win 7 32. It has worked great for me. I went with the 11" for the increased resolution. I only rarely run in to situations where I really miss my larger screen. I got it refurbished from the Dell Outlet for around $340.

Any troubles with the motion sensor being too sensitive? I have then next largest toshiba I think is was like $600 and it skips logging on 2nd gear pulls and if I let off the gas hard.

Although it may be a great feature, I wish I could turn down the sensitivity or turn it off.

Hell, you won't be able to fit one entire big map from tephra V7 on the screen.
