Odd load upon spool
Odd load upon spool
So just started the tuning process on my new 9. This is my third evo all self tuned and I have never seen this before. I have also searched my butt off and cant find the answer. I am running V7 on E85 @29psi and right when the boost picks up and the load touches 300 it drops sharply to almost 0 and picks right back up to 300 again.
Here is a screen shot of what I am describing. I guess I have one more question. Why does the tps not pick up right when I go to wot. It kind of tapers up to 100%. Thanks in advance Chris

what load factor are you using in V7? You seem to be clipping the max load value at the default 1.2 factor (max of 306)
Try using 1.3 as the factor (331 load max) and see if it still happens.
Remember to change the factor in evoscan too.

I've seen the same drop out at the exact same rpm. My car feels like it hits a wall when this happens.
It happens if I get on the boost early (below 2500 rpm) but if I am above 3500 rpm and go WOT...I don't have the issue.
It acts like a spark cut out. There will be a moment of super rich when it happens.

Fuel cut is disabled. The load factor is 1.4. I should not be seeing this at low RPM. It does perfectly fine at any RPM higher than about 3500. I've seen loads in the 350-360 range with no issues so long as I start the pull above 3500 rpm.
I don't want to have to down shift on the highway just to pass someone...the car has plenty of bottom end that I shouldn't need to. But to keep it above 3500 and stop the "brick wall" effect, I have to down shift.
Only thing I believe it might by is my HKS DLI II box causing issues at low rpm.
It really feels like what would be fuel cut, but if this were the case the car would do it at any rpm if I were loading it up hard.
It seriously is more of a spark cut as for a brief moment the car will go rich (same time as the problem area) then it wil pull like hell.
