89 Octane tune ?

I'm currently tuned on E85 and am about to make the switch back to pump gas for the winter. I was thinking why not use 89 instead of 91 to save alittle $, I'm not concerned with the performance loss since I won't be pushing my car hard anyways. Should I just lower my timing about 2-3 degrees from my 91 map and in just the 200+ cells I also plan to lower boost to around 20 psi.
Do you think this would be safe? Any other tips?
Thanks

Thanks for your constructive comment. I like the idea of saving $3-$4 a fill up when it's 10 degrees outside. It's not like I'm going to be shooting for any 11 sec. passes when there is a foot of snow on the ground

i would go with the low octane map ... copy it 100+ plus load into the hi octane and work from there. if u have ecu or electronic b.c turn it the hell down.

I run on 89 octane (although I may say it's because I have no choice ) with around 20 psi, if you are properlly tuned for it, the car will actually run pretty strong mine does anyways.
