10.5-11.0 seen hellish torque spikes downlow.

spool = 12.8-13
uptop = 11.8-12's - my personal car makes the most power at 12.2's.

you can tune with virtual dyno.. look what i did with it. 600whp @ 29psi almost. And on kill mode on last engine before i ran it out of oil it produced 655-660 all being done with virtual dyno. Of course if you dont trust yourself you will blow your engine, you must know what youre doing.

its safe as long as you use the same stretch of road, same rpm starting point and stopping point, and the road is very smooth and same smoothing factor. if you follow all that its no different then a real dyno in my opinion. I was able to get 80WHP more out of my car vs a mustang dyno tune from a road tune just mid range power. Funny thing is the dyno showed gains where on the street showed losses and it was very apparent the car was held back horribly at mid range. felt very sluggish and lazy.

Every cars different, you must find the best timing in every rpm level yourself. what works for one car might not for the other. its very time consuming on the road, but the end result is well worth it.

Tuning with VD.

So start at 2.5k rpm's in 3rd gear and then punch it to 7.2k?
What do with 4th? lower the rpm's and punch it again or just
keep running from there?

Thanks.
