New 3D VE Maps SD Rom
i've started to copy over my rom settings so that down load over the weekend and try but noticed that the v7 table in the Speed Density Programming 3d VE section changes the values in the launch map, is it just a error in the xml? or do you use the launch map area?
Also is there an easy way of converting my 2D VE tables into an initial 3D one
thanks

Ah I see don't worry about that. I put that table into the xml as a quick way to make a new table in some other part of the rom. I used the launch fuel map table as my guide to copy into a new space into the rom.
Don't worry about things in the programming part of the xml its really just left there for other programmers to see what i changed and where.

All you have to do is use Excel (or OpenOffice or whatever) and do it yourself. A bit hard to totally explain here, but your 3D VE will be your RPM VE * your map VE, and make that a percentage.
For the 3D cells that fall withing the range of one of your 2D axes, it will be interpolated from the axis. So, if you're right in the middle, it will be 50% of each.

I think the ROM is pretty much ready to go. Anything in particular you would like me to log?
I plan on warming it up (it ~20F here) logging the trims, o2feedback, 1byte, WB AFR and RPM. If it idles and finds 14.7, I'll try for a lap around the hood. If that goes well, maybe a brief 3rd gear rip.

I should probably come up with a way to log the VE value

Oh which one you testing? Both load axis or just one?

I'll get to it before too long though.
