how to turn sensors off?

New to tuning myself since my tuner is no longer around.
I have a 06 IX MR and am instaling a plx wideband into the rear bung but need to turn the factory rear o2 sensor off to take it out. He had done it on my VIII i used to have but not real sure how. I have the tactrix 2.0 with ecu flash.

Search a bit; it's fairly easily done. You'll need a patched rom though; I'd recommend Tephra v7 instead of just the rom patched for the rear o2.

I use Tephra v7 along with another patch to disable my rear o2.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...hramod-v7.html

If you decide to switch to Tephra, you'll need to transfer your fuel, timing, boost and other relevant maps to the new Tephra rom. Use "Option 2 - Thanks to recompile 88590715 (v7 + Mods)" so that you have the patc to disable the rear o2 built-in.

I can check exactly how I have it done when I get home tonight if you'd like.

The extra xml data goes into "OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo" then whatever romID you have. I'm using Tephra v7, so I edit "TephraMOD-88590715-v7.xml"
