Coming from a subaru and ecuflash, where are all the tables???

I downloaded a stock 05 evo 8 rom to take a peak at how the ECU tables are setup, im only seeing 67 tables???? I had nearly 300 tables to play with on the subaru roms. Is this just the way the evo is setup in in ecuflash or am i missing defs? i have the latest ecuflash and the beta installed too, tried searching around and got the collection of defs on here for the lancer and still only 67 tables. Maybe i just have to relearn tuning again bc the way the ecu is setup is waaaaaaay different and waaaaay less to play with on the evo.

two totally different animals and ECU logic. Use a tephra ROM but familiarize yourself with the 67 tables you have there.

I came from an STI as well. It's just a totally different thing.

The biggest thing that took some getting used to for me was not being able to use Learning View to monitor knock.

Like^^^^^he said, Download Tephramod V7 for your car and start with that. There are so many cool things you can do with the Evo rom.

If you just start with Tephra, you won't have too worry about transfering all your maps and stuff later.

Good luck and welcome dude!

Subaru ECUs are unnecessarily complex.

+1 to that JCS.
Mate of mine recently got a TBE on his 08 hatch, plugged in and took a dump to quickly familiarise myself to clean up his fuel and boost curves.

Hell no, what a nightmare!

I would assume it would be pretty difficult due to the subroutines required with the quad-cam etc.
