EVOSCAN macbook pro

So I "scanned" for a while now, and came to the conclusion: There is no evoscan download for us mac users!

ya we can boot this, do that, and somehow run windows on OSX but maybe.....just maybe........

EVOSCAN CAN JUST PROGRAM JUST A LITTLE HARDER FOR US MAC USERS OUT THERE!

please correct me if I'm wrong

and yes i searched google and the NoOoB button!

Yea I was totally stoked about my new macbook pro untill I tried to go re tune my ecu . I emailed them then they sent me some response that might as well have been written in korean . ( I don't speak and can not read korean ) . lol Easiest solution I have been able to find besides external hardrive with windows or however you run windows on a macbook pro Is notebook laptop with windows or cheap laptop used from your buddies friend that for some reason has this laptop for sale for a great deal with defaced serial # I mean uhm . Just kidding. But There are notebooks fairly cheap that work great. Plus 1 for mac version of evoscan though.

Like the two guys said above, You can Run VMWare (paid, unless you steal it from a torrent site which I don't suggest) or you can use Virtual box it is free and just as Flexible as VMWare. What I would do is get a windows machine that has next to nothing on it except EVOscan, ECUFLASH, Innovative datalogger or whatever you use then open up VMWare workstation or Virtual box Wrap that machine up using one of the two VM's, Drop it onto a memory stick and done.

Then on the MAC download VMWare Player or Virtual Box (player) and you can run that whole OS from the player on your MAC with Driver support and everything you need to run the Tactrix, or the Innovative logger (or whichever you use)

This is what I do with my Slackware (linux) Machine for tuning. Just a thought If you need help because the thought scares you hit me up in a PM I can send you all the links you need with step by step's

This is true but not sure if you have ever tried to develop software that works across all platforms, I have been working on porting the EVOScan on my linux machine with out the use of the Virtual ware. My laptop has 16Gb of ram, great processor, and video card but the virtual environment after an hour or two of logging takes it's toll What I mean by that is Battery life, over temps of the processor, from sitting in the car while makeing the runs and well just being in Okinawa with the Heat and Humidity...blah.
