I had this issue but I believe it has to do with the "timing knockdown under 3000 and light acceleration" periphery bit. Make sure it's not checked.

I have a similar knock problem

I turned off the "timing knockdown under 3000 and light acceleration"

but also, I'm fine tuning the timing on these areas where I get knock. Adding 1 by 1 degree and it's getting a lot better.

Also try to reset or reflash the ECU,

I noticed that everytime I got knock I was seeing negative timing (-1,-3, etc) so I'm trying to get rid off it

Hope it helps

can it be something rom related ?

I think it is the learning of the ecu, because it was seeing knock, it retards 1 2 or 3 degrees (depends on the knock count).

So it could have 2 degrees in that cell, but since it was knocking before it retards to -1

do you have the same ignition map in high and low octane? I would do that to prevent from going back and forth on high and low maps

also I posted my ignition map on the fully timing maps thread, someone mention that I sould add more timing on the low load cell (100-160) in the rpm where knock is happening; because the jump from one cell to the other in those load where to big (too much difference)

Hope it helps

I'm trying to get rid of this knock also. It's getting better, but haven't had time to smooth the map a bit and see if it works

In your pics I see:

knock 36 counts, RPM 3500, load 256.8, Timing -10

If I go to your timing map, I see at 3500 RPM and 250 - 260 load, 1 degree and 0, coming from a -2 and -3 in 3250 RPM

I think you need to increase these values
