no start after speed density conversion.

Hey guys, I need your help!!

Converted my Evo IX to SD yesterday but now I can't get the car to start. She cranks just fine, but that's it. No cough or sputter.

I copied over my imb hex(6001) just as I did when I first used v7.

I changed nothing else in the rom.

I'm going to check the fuses and manually look for fuel and spark today but I'm curious if I missed something in the tune file that I need to change.

Also, the car has a stock motor but different Turbo/and exhaust. Will the maps that come with the V7 SD tune be good enough just to start the car?

Thanks guys!!! I appreciate any and all help!

Ill take a look at that! Thanks for the idea.

Everyone, is the Immobilizer hex the only value I need to change for the car to fire up? How can I just disable the Immobilizer??

It's in the (FAA) periphery bits section in ECUflash. Just change it from 1 to 0 to disable it to see if it's the culprit.

thanks for that!!! I pm'd you as well.

OK, so ive narrowed things down.
there is no spark. no power at the coils or at the coil connecters.

i assume there is a fuse some ware for them, can any one point me in the direction of it?
Ive checked the fuse box under the hood and the two fuse's with the engine picture next to them are fine.

I assume there are more some where?

Did you already try to disable immo from FAA? Are you using 8859 rom?

if possible, I would recommend putting your maf back on and upload your original maf tune to see if this issue is either tune related, or something to do with the car (like a fuse or whatnot)

no sense in tearing the car apart to find the culprit unless youve determined that the issue is not limited to the tune.

Make sure that its logging the correct air temp in evoscan when the key is on. People accidentally select the wrong input depending whether they are using a GM IAT sensor or the stock fuel temp sensor. It will read like -70*f if its wrong.

issue fixed!!!

the coils are fed power via the #1 10amp fuse under the dash. it was blown, replaced the fuse and all is good now!
