I do not have an IX sas manifold. i opted not to have it shipped/gathered from foxbat. I intend to use the stock mani that Ill get from murph for a while. If the ingenuity gets necessary enough we can always go another route. I can always have it ported too.. A lot of options, just cinching down the pieces ya know

Thats what i am saying! lol..

I really cant wait. ! I need anti lag! hah..

well any thing worth having is worth the wait I suppose. Those GSC s2's will love the midrange I am producing. Our local SCCA region has fallen victim to the area's rising cost to use facilities, so a majority of the schedule takes place on a go kart track. Of which is 99% second gear. So the on/off'ness of this setup is surely gonna A) help B) hurt. if any thing will teach me to be a better driver!

Ive played around with this on my JDM. Drilled out the banjo bolts etc. To me the issue doesn't appear to be getting air in. It's seems to be getting enough fuel in. Enlarging the banjo's didn't do much to be honest, not sure if I could even tell a difference, but as you dial down the injector time (s) the effect (noise only, absolutely no pressure increase) diminishes to nothing. It seem to sound a lot better on 5/6's and be pretty weak on CT9A's. You can get a decent run of smalls pops around 2.5-3.5K rpm but over that just a couple of pops that do nothing other than annoy motorists and probably damage the cat with time. I played with it, then disabled it again.

I haven't re-read everything in here to see what your individual plans are (some of you seemed to be going to modify the setup heavily) but in stock form with drilled out banjos, using many combinations of ECU settings, it does SFA.

I have different plans of attack: throttle body map switching like i first thought was necessary and just dump fuel in alt map when throttle body is closed incl - timing

or switch to a map which has really richened low loads/- timing

or use SAS equipped rom and tweak til content.

all im going by with this is JB said it could be done so Im going with that! Something can be accomplished

worst case scenario piggy back arduino and shielded motor board to get boost. Idk what really needs to be done yet as ive just got my manifold today. my cams will be on the way thursday. so after that we go bang!

I should add I enrichened the decel load cells and ran the minimum of -10* timing which enhanced the effect but didnt even cause a flicker of the boost gauge and I was logging with evoscan and my MAP sensor was logging normal vacuum also.

I scared some people and a few dogs (which I felt terrible about) and it sounds the business, but could not get any change in logged vacuum/boost levels with it running as aggressively as the CT9A setup allowed. Hope you have better luck with the map switching, but I have a feeling you'll all need custom hardware to get any generation of boost (hell, even to get a reduction of vacuum) off throttle.
