Any progress on the TPMS tool? I just bought a new set of wheels/tires/tpms and would like to get them learned to my car without having to visit the dealership every spring/fall. Definately willing to pay for it!

Subscribed for TPMS re-learn tool/program. Easily worth $50 one-time fee when the dealer charges (at-least) that every time they do it. Program doubly pays for itself in less than a year!

Update with ACD/AYC Bleed application

Is this available or is it work in progress ?.. What cables is it designed to work
with ? .. Will it work with the Evo 9 interface or just the CAN ?

This application will just do some of the things the MUTIII does, but without having a MUTIII

So far:
- Timing Chain Elongation query and reset
- AYC Bleed
- ACD Bleed

I hope to add (but it may take a while):
- DRL disable
- TPMS disable or at least relearn
- Reinstate ECU

Thoughts?

-edit-
AYC/ACD bleed are working RIGHT NOW...

I am having an issue with the timing chain report/reset, which I wanted to get done for the first release...

If people want the AYC/ACD part, send $25USD + paypal fee to my paypal (in my sig) I will send it to you, when the timing chain bit is done I will give you a free update

Cheers
D.

Hi Tephra,
I have been following this thread because it was interesting. Now it may be a need for me. My AYC/ACD pump has gone bad and the dealership wants about $2K to fix it. Aside from replacing the pump, would your program allow me to do the work myself?

I've used his program to do the ACD and AYC bleeding. You just need a buddy running the laptop and turning the wheel while you crank open/close the bleeding nipples.

You did it wrong. I did it that way first too. Read my other post in this thread for the correct way to do it.

Start with the wheel straight, activate the bleed, turn the wheel, then go under and loosen the screw to bleed. No buddy needed. You should not be continually turning the wheel.... just turn it once and leave it there.

Yes it would allow you to do the whole job yourself. I'd recommend doing it yourself if you can find a used one. They definitely aren't cheap new!

Read your post. I'll try that way next time and watch what happens.
