Help with E85 Timing on EVO IX

I recently installed a Magnus V5 on my EVO IX in hopes of running a bit faster at the drag strip. Best to date is 11.80's @ 118 on E85. I ran this with what I thought was conservative timing. Anyways, now that I have the intake installed I was looking to be more aggressive. Opinions or help would be appreciated....Here is the map I've been working on for the track....

AMS TBE
AMS IC
Injen IC Pipes and Intake
GSC S1 Cams
Magnus V5
MAP Ported Exhaust Manifold and Turbo Hotside
MAP O2 Housing

if you increase timing at a given rpm do you still gain any power? I haven't tuned E85 before but that map seems decent enough to me.

Honestly, It's been tough to use the same stretch of road to get consistent results. It seems to be up to this point.

Are you running 3 at peak load and 24 up top? Hard to tell on my screen.

Im sure others will chime in and feel free to correct me if im wrong, but i would say you have a little more timing at peak, also you should pull some timing up top, what do you afrs look like up top? are you running richer up top along with the very dramatic tail off of the boost curve to compinsate for so much advance? also might want to look at your WGDC tables.

I personally think you are running too much up top and could use a degree or 2 at peak load. You have a 9 so its different than my 8. Im personally running 6 at peak load. Might be different for your 9 though. But too much up top for sure.

I agree with you as well, i have a 9 and yea i agree that is to much up top, i really think less timing and holding more boost to redline would help you. to give you and idea 3-4 degree is about what peak would be on pump 93 depending on setup etc.

probably over mbt in some areas already.. be careful. evo 9 doesnt take as much timing as a 8.. keep that in mind.

Thank you. That's what I'm worried about. Any spots in particular you would be worried about?

its to much for an 8 also.. this just shows you how strong the 4g63 is to take abuse like this 24/7.. i see this everyday with maps. people think because its a 4g63 it can take the same timing as a dsm and so on.. definitely not. completely diff head designs.

6 at peak load seems a bit hairy also ......... depends on boost level though.
