Hmmm, I think I've made a mistake with the mod! Pin 88 must be a ADC input, rather than a high/low input. You should change C802 back to C801, and that will fix it. The number on the end refers to the bit that is being tested, and in your case bit 1 is toggling with the clutch switch. On mine it was bit 2.

A non-ADC input on the ECU would be ideal if anyone knows of a spare one, but otherwise I'll happily stick with pin 88.

In testing I found that having the tephra mod options on either ICS or ADC0F didn't matter. I currently have it on ICS in case you're wondering though.

Off on a tangent seeing this is a mostly a 96260709 related thread, I have a new 96260009 xml with a lot of fixes (mostly just to correct incorrect axes though). PM me if you want it, as I think your evo7base xml will need fixes to work with it.

I meant C801 not CB01! I was a bit blind when I wrote that. I'll edit my post now.

Just edit this table's value back to C801: "Set to C802 for NTLS. Originally C801"
Once you've done that, you should be good to go!

The 96260709 xml is the right place for it. But of course you can still have my updated 96260009 xml. It doesn't have anything to do with the fix for NLTS though. I'll PM you.

Update - we got nemini's NLTS issue sorted. The original xml I posted up is still correct in case anyone's wondering.

And as for reliability, a word of warning - 6 speed transmissions aren't as robust as the 5's! I've used NLTS occasionally for over half a year with no problems (yet), but I know that another wasn't so lucky, losing 6th gear.

Hey Guys

Hyper is right nlts works great but after a few time of using it 6th gear stopped working in my car
im am sure this is because of selecting 2nd to 3rd to quickly. You can still use nlts but be nice on your gear changers. if you are looking to use it to drag race buy a 5 speed first.

Hi guys! I have an Evo 7 JDM and i run 90550001 Tephra v.7 ROM.
My 88 pin used for cam sensor. So i think i must use the 43 pin. Right? What should i do with my xml? Is there any ideas?

When i activate my NLTS revs drops without pushing the clutch pedal, when i just accelerate....

Hi,

bumping this a bit.

I'm running 96531706 (v7+sd) on a Evo8 JDM and have been trying to get NLTS to work for a while now. I've rewired the stock clutch switch into the box on pin #88 (JDM 3 plug), and when clutch is up it shows 203 and when I press down the clutch I get 201. I wanted to get rid of the clutch depress requirement when booting the car as well so that's why I've used the stock switch.

In detail I've cut the red wire going to the stock clutch witch and wired the red "output" from the switch into the box, while the white one is untouched.

When doing the 'garage test' NLTS doesn't trigger. I've even tried pushing down the clutch when I start the car and then putting down the throttle and releasing the clutch to test if I had the 203->201 wrong (saw that someone used to invert the signal through a relay somewhere in the thread). Still didn't work though.

And of course I've inserted the XML hacks. But still it doesn't work.

Anyone has any ideas?
