Strange load reading

The ecu seems to momentarily stops seeing load when reaching high boost, check the attached log image, when boost reached more than 25psi, (around 300 load), load reading dropped to 10, fuel mixture got lean & timing got pulled way back in the process! Then normal load reading came back around 5700rpm. Actual boost reading was normal around 25+ psi in that duration, car bogged down during that abnormal load reading (due to lean mix & retarded timing)

Any clues what the problem is, rom? electrical?
The ECU is JDM Evo 7, rom is mods V7.

You need to adjust your 2byte to 1byte load factor in ecu flash and then match the change in evo scan. the stock setting in ecu flash is 1.2 which equals 306 load. you need to raise that 1.2.

Okay, I'll try it, but does that affect how the car behaves or does it affect the data readings only?
Because the car actually bogged down when load was being misread (due to lean mixture & retarded timing while in high boost).

No, it only affects the load readings. But you have to make sure you also make the same change in Evo Scan otherwise you'll keep getting the weird load readings.

Well, would that load misreading affect actual AFR & Timing? If you look at the log image in the op you would see that both were affected in that duration (red square) the car actually bogged down because of that, I suspect it's more than a 2byte-1byte scaling issue!

Changing the 2byte-1byte load will only show you what loads your actually hitting in that red area because your going past the stock v7 roms setting of 1.2, which equates to 306 load.

As for bogging and going lean and losing timing, thats a tunning issue or a mechanical issue you need to address. GL

Where in evoscan would I adjust the 2byte-1byte?

edit the eval formula for 1 byte load (like if you had 1.2 factor the formula was 1.2*x; now with say 1.4 you'll needd to make it 1.4*x)
