Knock even with timing pulled

I can't understand why I keep getting knock rolling into boost and on boost even after pulling a ton of timing. I am in single digits in the 200+ loads and still knocking. Idk if it is false or real but I feel like its real knock and I did log knock base and adc like suggested in Merlin's tuning guide to spot false knock and it also looks to confirm its real. Afr's are nicely in the 11's during the knock events. I keep getting upto 8 counts according to live tuning. I just changed sparkplugs and that didn't really help. Idk if s2 cams are part of the issue or the ix rs mivec map.

Thanks for any help!

Don't think so cause I feel the car hesitate and before with plus 8 knock counts break up under accel. That event made me really seriously chase the knock.

If the knock sensor is faulty, it will throw 8-10 counts as soon as you get into boost... this will pull timing and make the car fall on its face...

Hmm the worst I see Is 8 but there is a build up to it. It's not like bam 8 also I did some reading could it be my twin disk causing + poly mounts causing the knock sensor to report knock? Will also ch for things banging around.(possible dp hitting that crossing bar that runs under it.) Worse case I will swap a new sensor in.

try to richen up the map a little and see if your getting the same knock counts. if it is exactly the same then there is a good chance it is false knock.

i was getting knock up top on my setup at 6000-8000 rpms on my fp black setup. im new to tuning so i just pulled back 2 degrees of timing and richened my map up a little. the knock completely gone. maybe you should give it a shot n see what happens and take it from there. my load counts are in the 350's btw and my afrs are 11.1 11.2 up top on 26psi

Will do two things throw a rich map at it and raise knock multiplier 5%

You can also try some racegas if you're still using 93 and see if that helps.

Do you have aftermarket valve springs & retainers installed?
