2012 Knock Tables?

Hi guys, I have a 2012 MR that we put an AMS 2.2L shortblock in, and being a built engine it's a little noisy. I've noticed there's only 1 defined rom for the '12 MR and it doesn't have the knock tables defined. Anyone find theses tables yet? Are they the same as previous years? Can I just copy the tables from an '11 MR definition and paste them in the '12 def? Not sure if it works like that, but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There was some talk that some of the 2011 ROM's would work on the 2012. I would try that if I was you.

The 2012 ROM will not backdate to a 2011 without bench flashing the ecu

So, could I bench flash back to a 2011 MR rom and it should run? I read Aaron's thread about rom interchanging, but he did a GSR. I wasn't sure if it would work on the MR because of the SST.

I have an MR to try that is here for the cam testing portion of the why do 2012s suck. I will pull it up and benchflash it and see what it does. If it does work I would actually backdate to a 2010MR and use TephraMod if you prefer that. The 2010 is better defined either way so I would go all the way back to it.

Yes, but you should probably to to a 2010 over the 2011. :-)

Yes thats what I mean, but I have a cable I made that I can actually leave the ECU in the car, hook up the connector to the ECU in the engine bay, and then flash.

BenchFlash means the recovery mode for Bricked ECU.

Benchflash in recovery mode

Then flash in normal mode

Then reinstall ECU

Tune as normal
