Its for my race car, so waste of time. All I want to do is have some gauges and record the screen to overlay in some video which my S3 can do and is small and out of the way, so cable only is the plan.

Hey Hamish I tried you on skype for a few days and hadn't heard from you.

I have a Parrot Asteroid smart that runs a custom version of 2.2

I have a spare USB port in the back. Would your android software work with it, and if so what would i need? I was thinking 1.3U cable and something to tie my Zeitronix wideband into the cable as well?

Ok after digging a little bit it looks like the 1.3DA cable will work but I don't see anywhere on your site where i can buy the app and cable.

Am I missing something.

I'm pretty sure this was addressed ealier and dont think the cable will be available seperate or the software, until after a few of the first batches are taken care of. But i could be wrong. Been following this thread since earlier November and pre ordered then too.

Could we expect the product to be finalised by month end? I'm very very very eager and keen to receive it!

Would it be safe to say they'd be in the post bag by 1 June? I appreciate the time and effort you're putting in. It's just been soooo looong

Just popped in the Nexus 7.

Hamish - I will be waiting for the release of your android app now (DMA protocol support would be great, too.)

Nice work. Can you please keep the USB plug spare, because I want to use that plug for EvoScan purposes: the USB port for OpenPort 1.3DA cable Make SDRtouch work with a wifi radio dvb-t, I don't like using Wifi for datalogging its too slow and laggy.

Not a problem. The customer kernel/ROM I'm using enables host mode OTG and charging. So, I can add in a USB hub and add as many devices as needed.

I have a question on your cable, though. Are you powering it from the ODB adapter? It would be nice if it could be powered from the USB end, so that I can power it from ignition and not constant power (don't have to worry about battery drain while car is off).
