Kinda.
But seriously.......a Scooby. Must've wanted daily driver comfort over speed. lol.
For the record my wife has an 08 and I love her car to death for daily driving.
the 1.3DA cable and evodroid7 will work on a Subaru, but only once I have added an update to the software to enable it.. currently it is not enabled due to it needing a bit more android java programming. It is on the roadmap to complete the programming update for the subbie. not sure when it will be released at this stage.
Yup, priorities are kicking in and a fast EVO isn't needed for commuting to work and going on day trips with the family.
I was able to find iGo maps for North America on a certain popular pirate themed download site. You may be able to find yours there.
Yes that is normal, it is called diagnostic mode. If you plug in a Mitsubishi dealer tool it does the same thing. kmh>0 the flashing is designed to stop flashing. If you have an evo7/8/9 you can disconnect pin1 from your obdII port so that the diagnostic plug can not connect pin1 to pin4/5 to put it in flashing mode. only for evo7/8/9 can you stop the flashing. other vehicles you need the flashing diagnostic mode to actually datalog from the factory ecu.
