New EVODROID7 EvoScan Android GPS/Logger/Reflashing CarPC Touchscreen Review
i second this question. I just purchased a used one as well..but i have an evoscan account..I have the windows software and the evoscan gps unit as well.. Will i be able to update or can i register my email as the new owner?
please email me the original dudes email address, and your new email address, and I'll make sure you can still get updates.
oh actually, if you are an end user, you really won't need a driver for browsing files, because it is a just a real USB Mass Storage device, like a USB stick. plug in your cable to the pc, wait 30 seconds, go onto your android and select the notification bar, and select use mass storage in the popup.
Thanks. I had to unplug it and plug it back in. Got a "no android driver" error when I first tried it so I thought maybe I needed one. But after unplugging and plugging it in again I got it.
Made some gauges last night. Wasn't too difficult once I got started. Tried them this morning and most didnt work. Lol not sure why, maybe it's just the ECU doesn't give oil pressure and coolant temp?
Anybody have a list of what the Evodroid can read when only hooked up to the obd?
Thanks

I would recommend opening up EvoScan for windows, and take a look at the lists in their on the screen. You should see all the standard OBD items. I would also recommend moving to Mode23 logging. Evodroid7 does not yet support RAX logging, but will in a future update.
I don't have Evo scan. How would I know if I'm on mode 23? I have been tuned for E85.
I found a file in the Evodroid directory that showed the names to log so when I built the gauges I used those names exactly. Only the speedo worked and after about 49 or 50 MPH it was way off. Same thing with the stock gauge that came with the Evodroid. It would show me at 90mph when I was doing like 50. I have it set to imperial.
Also is there a way to hide the "connected" info at the top right?

My Evodroid has worked for the last 3 week now and all of a sudden its not able to connect with an error message "Re-plug in the OpenPort Cable". The green light on the 1.3DA lights up when ignition is switched on. So is there a problem with my 1.3DA connector?? Or an issue with the Evoscan app on Evodroid.
