I would like to display my SST transmission temperature. The Mitsubishi EVOX Mode23 USA xml has RequestID="CAN28-0" for transmission temperature. It is not returning any data.

Does anyone know anything about the CAN requests that appear in the XMLs. They do not appear to be related to the standard PID codes for ODBII - see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...ldid=302810005. Is there a table of CAN Numbers somewhere? Google is not being a lot of help in this instance.

This has probably been answered a couple times, but I have a 2.0 tatrix open port plug I bought for turning my ralliart. I'm really interested in this product but only if the product works with the cable I payed 200$ for already. Would this cable work? (granted I switch the input to micro USB) thank you.

No, it needs openport 1.3DA or 3.0DA-cable to work :/ 3.0DA for ralliart

I've been searching their website. I don't see any way to download the android app and/or purchase the android cable separately. Does anyone know if this is possible? I'd like to use this on my own tablet.

Hi turbotaloon95, the cable and software only comes with the evodroid7 at the moment. but, yes you can use the software on your own tablet if you have an evodroid7.

It's pretty much false advertising to say this thing is a nav. It won't work without wifi and is slower than a ten year old Garmin

It is Android v4.0.4, and everything can work without wifi. also old Garmin were only 100Mhz,this is many times faster than that, it is true that maybe old Garmin didn't run a whole o/s like android.

Sorry thats a flat out lie. I have had 9+ satellites connected and it still hangs for 10+ minutes unable to locate me. If anyone is interested in a video of this let me know.

oh, the gps module, you didn't mention anything about that. it takes just the same time for all gps locks on all android devices, they all use similiar gps chips. if it takes that long then the gps module must be a faulty one, please return the whole unit and we will replace it.

I have to be completely stationary for few minutes for it to locate me. If I start to drive and then switch to Navigon what I use in Evodroid , it can't locate me for long time. No similar problems on anyother android-devices I use. I'm gonna switch to better tablet when I have time and motivation to workout all the problems.
Btw in Google Play, there is mut-protocol for Torque. I could not get it to work in older Evo yet but maybe thats' possible

nah, all of my EvoDroid7s get a gps lock in a few minutes, even when moving. that one is faulty, send it back. I will run a full GPS quality control test to make sure every unit before sending out from now on has no faulty gps.

It probably is software related. Do you have newer softaware that I can flash/update? When I last used gps about 2months ago it located me in less than minute when stationary. But when already moving it takes ages to lock-on. Do you have evodroid specific update part in your evoscan.com site where I can look for soft updates?

I imagine that you need to be stationary while the gps device locates the satellites and moving during this phase disrupts the process.
