New EVODROID7 EvoScan Android GPS/Logger/Reflashing CarPC Touchscreen Review
Any word on getting the cable to work with other phones/tablets? I already have a Nexus 7 installed inside my dash and would love to get it working with Evoscan so I can get rid of my gauges.
yes, just finished releasing EvoScan v2.9.0092. I am now enhancing the features on EvoDroid7 for some new updates coming. I also found a way to shut off the power when you turn the key off.. it works because the EvoDroid7 runs under root access, and EvoScan can control any power button in the whole system.
Cheers,
Hamish.

For the Evoscan update, I noticed it says "Send this list to my Evodroid7". What is this, and was this part of the update or did I just not notice it before?

Does anyone managed to make wideband serial logging work? When I connect my AEM wideband to Openport 3.0DA cable, I get the following message: "Error: Innovate Wideband Error: ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: length=4096; index=-1", even after selecting AEM wideband in options menu.

The problem with mounting it in the double din display is that it makes the power/menu button inaccesable. I had to hire someguy to solder wires to extend the switch to a remote location. Would be great if you just sold it with wires coming out of it for extension. Perhaps if this could be done via one of the ports in the 0-5v plug... then no need to take the tablet apart?

The only issue is that it needs some fabrication to be done and I'm not much of a fab person... I can't find anyone that will do it either... But it's still something I'm considering lol...
There's another guy who did it using a hacked up CD-rom:

Obviously it doesn't look neat or nice in anyway, but it does the job, but I want it to look more appealing.
