Can I use the rest of the maf harness to configure and log a second map sensor? I'm on sd using gm iat.

I want to log pre throttle body pressure.

 

According to workshop manuals both baro and map inputs seems to be same type inputs so maybe you could use baro analog input directly? As you know there is all necessary signals in maf connector for map sensor: +5V, ground and signal wire (baro) connected to analog input pin. So we just need to point one unused adc read routine to read baro input.

This is for 88586714 (logging from MUT97):

Thank you donner, I will be trying to accomplish adding a second map sensor to compliment the sas theory that I have going.

 

Is there any difference in logging the compressor cover vs just pre throttle body?

 

Remember this only works with sd roms

If you're not running a gang of boost, these sensors look pretty sweet; and cheap!

They seem like a real good option for retrofitting for SD in general. The sensor has a bunch of resolution on the bottom of the MAP range for good idle, etc.

Ok, so I can just splice the output wire from the MAP sensor in to pin 2 on the maf plug im good right?

sensor gets ground and +5v for power which should be ok to split from the IAT sensor correct?

 

I would like to start logging dual boost to get some turbo back pressure data. This would be helpful.

 

Im torn in mounting location. No matter what aluminum must be modified. Are you thinking pre and post IC locations?
