Cannot modify rom after ecuflash upgrade.

I upgraded my ecuflash today and it deleted all of my previous rom definitions and now will not allow me to modify any of the roms. Why is that?

Had the same problem Idk why it does that but as you said it deletes everything. Redownload the definitions and it should work like normal. I freaked out when I did that with mine a while ago, once you put everything back it it works just fine.

My problem is I am trying to use a rom the currently exists with tephra 5.10 mods on it and it will not let me mod the roms that exist. Without retuning the whole car I was leery to switch to a different rom.

Ind changed all permissions on the folder and I can modify the rom now. I had to do it for all levels on the properties page.

Ah ok glad that's all it was. I know when I did mine I had to add all the tephra stuff back into the system and it was pain in the *****.

I did have to add all the tephra stuff back which sucks! I still have issues finding the o2 delete for rom 94170015 as that is the main thing we are trying to get rid of which is the cel for the heater circuit and no rear o2 signal. The new version has a patch but it doesnt say what to change the value to make it active.

It didn't delete them. If you go into the directory that has your rommetadata folder, you should see one that says "backup001" or "backup002". All your previous definitions will be in there.
