Yeah I got sick of going between the two versions of ecuflash and eventually just bit the bullet and bought an op2.0 also. It's nice because I can live tune with my R cable and flash and stand alone data log with the 2.0 cable.

Yeah, it'll work with all versions of Evoscan. You can flash with Evoscan or 1.29a, and edit with the latest Ecuflash .

The issue I had with this was that ecuflash 1.29a is missing a lot of definitions and its not as easy as changing the xml file in the rommedata folder either as the older version won't recognize most of the new definitions, and forget about tephra on 1.29a too. Evoscan isn't going to give you the tables that ecuflash will and if you want to use the most up to date definitions those don't work so well on 1.29a as previously stated. What I used to do (prior to buying the 2.0) was flash with 1.29a and make rom changes using the newest version of ecuflash. Make sense? Like flash with the old one and mod your rom with the new one. The only way to make this work though is when downloading the two different versions of ecuflash you have to create different folders and also open the programs with different desktop icons. You have to be relatively computer savvy to get this method to work honesty.
