From what I read it would work with most log formats. The question is why? The average self tuner doesn't need much above what is in EvoScan combined with Excel Online/Google docs (also free)/Excel you own/Open Office etc. to do basic visualizations. Full on pro tuners that may need this, already either have other software that does this or have come up with their own customized datasheets to see the data they need with the correct visualization. This is a ploy to get folks to go and look at software that 99% of the folks here don't need.

Really funny since the OP talks about .xls when the default format used is CSV.....

Honestly though, Evoscan's datalog viewing is ***. I use MegalogviewerHD for everything, and it's lightyears ahead of anything else. It's also still being supported and developed, unlike Evoscan, which is stuck in 2009, and still unable to perform most functions on the Evo 8/9 if you're using an OP2.0.

So do you use megalogviewer to open and examine evoscan logs, or are you actually capturing logs with it?

I standalone log with my OP2.0, and open the logs with MLVHD. I believe it supports Evoscan log format, but if not, you can export the evoscan logs as CSV to open with MLVHD.

I find evoscan horribly cluttered, and sluggish. There's too much stuffed into too little space, and since the dev isn't really supporting it or working on it anymore since it's 'good enough'...I avoid it when possible.

ill have to agree. the only thing i use evoscan for is maptrace, and it is less than accurate at times. graphing things in excel helps, but still can fall short.

i think it also has change as my skill has increased.
