You might be able to do it from the EVOscan menu itself. It lets you change the formula from the application side. Otherwise you have to navigate over to the software root directory and edit the xml file using notepad.
Doesnt this also require some kind of rear o2 sim or patch thing added to the rom xml? Thats what I keep reading in different threads but there is also tons of different patches/sims/methods/instructions, all of them being 8-10 years old so I dont know what info is even accurate anymore. All I want to do is log afr in evoscan for tuning and not have a CEL. I have a stock 88590015 rom.
Thanks, that helps a lot. So I can either use the combined patch in my 88590015 rom or I can just change to tephra v7 and the patch is already pre-applied to the rom?
I've considered going to tephra for the additional features. My concern is that tephra has a lot of tables that the 8859 does not have and I dont know what values should be used since I cant compare and copy from 8859.
Would I be ok just switching to tephra and only copying the tables in 8859 but leaving the others untouched? I've read the "How to set up tephra" which explains some of the new tables and what values to enter, but not all of them.

Save your original rom.
If you are all stock just flash the v7, let it idle for 10 minutes and log.
Make changes accordingly. Keep reading, this forum has alot to offer.

Thanks looking for the eval equasion as well as the max and mins. The new aem gauge reads 8.5 rich to 29 AFR lean

The eval for the AEM X-series Wideband is 0.046787*x+7.31845
Make sure to wire the Brown wire to Sensor ground in the ECU, NOT chassis ground.
