Can't get ECUFlash to open my ROM, tried everything I can find

Hey everyone! First off my car is a 2005 Evo 8 MR. I recently purchased a Tactrix Openport 2.0 cable and I'm trying to open up my ROM in ECUFlash, but I keep getting the error that it cannot recognize my ROM image using any of the current definitions. I have tried downloading and loading multiple definitions into the rommetadata folder under evo where all of the other .xml files are located, but I haven't had any luck. I also tried downloading and running ECU-Unlocker in the background, while I downloaded the ROM from my ECU, but that didn't work either. I bought my car from a dealer who told me they had the car tuned just before I bought it, so I was wondering if the person that tuned the car locked the ECU or something. I have spent hours searching and trying to figure this out, but nothing seems to be working. I will attach the file that I downloaded from my ECU in notepad format (it wont let me upload the .srf file that it was originally downloaded in) Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Open the ROM in a hex editor like HxD, then go to address F52 and there you will find the ROM ID. It could be that they used a custom ID to identify the ROM and it is not found by ECUFLASH in your metadata folder. Post up what you find there.

Do you have tephramod definition files? If it was tuned by the previous owner or tuner, he probably did it on tephra.
Can you post the rom itself?

I attached a screenshot of the ROM open in a hex editor on the address F52. Here is a google drive link to my actual ROM

I tried adding a couple of tephramod definition files, but the ones I tried didn't work. Do you know where I can find a download to all of them? It looks like the definition for my rom on the editor is 96940011. I have the definition file for that ROM, but I just opened it up in the HxD editor and it doesn't have the same number at the F52 address. Should those numbers be the same?

When I open your attached roms in a hex editor what you have screen shot is not what I see in the editor. What I see at F52 is "65 5D 25 4E". There is something up with your ROM.

I've stripped the header for you and identified it as 96940013. Your corrected file and the xml you will need to read it is in the zip below.

Thank you guys for your replies! The ROM that I posted in the google drive link is an SRF file. I was able to save that as a .bin file and that is when I saw the other numbers on address 52.
Thanks for modifying that file for me. I am now able to open the ROM without it giving me an error, but I am not able to edit or view anything. Everything is just grayed out. My user level is set to advanced.

Ok thanks again to all who have replied! Here is an update as to what I have found out so far. I was finally able to open and view some of my maps! When it opened before I noticed in the task info box that it said "Unable to find parent metadata evo7base_20081101". I did a little searching on the forums and found that someone just had to add _20081101 to the end of the evo7base definition. Turns out mine didn't have that so I added it and I was able start viewing some of my maps. That runs me to my next question. It seems like there should be more maps available to view than I have. Can you guys tell me what maps you have available to view for your evo 8 in ECU flash? I will attach screen shots of the maps I am seeing. Again, my user level is set to advanced to it shouldn't be hiding stuff from me due to that.
