Tephramod V7 Help Needed

Here's my message in a bottle hoping it reaches someone. I am new to tuning, but I am ready for the headaches that come with it. I'm committing to the evo tuning rabbit hole. Here's what has been happening since my dad and I installed some aftermarket parts to the car (intake manifold, throttle body, EGR delete & oil catch can) and I wrote in the tephramod V7 ROM. The car starts up okay with the rough cold start (from what I read that's normal when the EGR is defeated). I let the car warm up a bit before I start cruising through the streets. The throttle feels a bit more responsive (thanks new parts), but that is not my issue. The main issue is when I am in 2nd or 3rd gear around 3k RPM and try to give it some gas, the car doesn't want to go. The car drives fine when boost isn't engaged but when I give it a little more throttle it refuses to go into boost. I can verify this because the boost gauge does not read past 0 BAR (OEM boost gauge). The CEL flashes from the TM flashing CEL feature and the car jerks a bit. I think what I'm experiencing is either a boost cut or a fuel cut. Some guy had the same problem as me and had it resolved, but the thread itself isn't much helpful.

I switched over to tephramod v7 about a week ago and copied my immobilizer code and init code. The EGR was defeated a while back in the stock ecu so I copied that over too. I copied over one of the high and low octane fuel maps from the stock ROM to the modded ROM. I decided to not touch the timing map just yet because idk which timing map should I copy over. The thread previously mentioned recommended to OP to change the tables in the BDEL and the Base WGDC tables (yes they were all zeros for me too but I filled the tables in w/values from the stock ROM). I looked over and compared tables between the most recent stock ROM I saved to the modded ROM. For the most part, they're identical. No changes were made there. So now I'm stuck. There's gotta still be something preventing me from entering boost.

Could someone please point me to the right direction, tell me what I'm not doing, or link me some threads/posts? I find it difficult to look at pics on an old forum because there isn't much left. I've watched recompile's playlsit on youtube several times now and dug through the forum to find the solution to my car but no avail. I have a USDM Evo 9 MR bought pretty much stock other than an aftermarket exhaust w/test pipe. Mods done to it is full ICP, EGR delete, and new throttle body & intake manifold are the main things done to it. Other than that, it's accessory mods I don't think have to do with anything in the tune. ROM ID is 88590715. I'll also leave an attached file of my recent ROM. Thank you in advance.

You need to log what's happening and go from there. CEL flashing is knock or AFR out of range (If you have set it up) either are bad.

I assumed that would've been the next step. Not ready to data log just yet. I have my hardware, but they're not installed yet. I'm going to move back to the stock ROM and defeat the EGR there. Can't afford to have the car down especially when I work full time. Thank you Biggiesacks for your insight! For now I will keep reading up on Merlin's pdf and will come back if I have anymore questions.

I found the answer to my problems a while back but am now logging in to update. Noob mistake. Overlooked to check for boost leaks. Car runs fine now. I'm back on the stock ROM and will keep it there until I have the necessary hardware to datalog and make adjustments. Currently working on bigger things in life. I'll continue to keep reading and digesting.

On a side note, I was experiencing a fuel cutoff around 6.5K RPM @ WOT. I was able to figure it out in the ECU myself and eliminated that problem. Feels amazing to accomplish something that my dad was afraid to tackle
