It is an Evo 9 GTA wagon 88770005 ROM. That XML file is in this site if you search. The file inherits 89960000 which is the 2005 JDM Evo 9 and also on this site.

I've stripped the useless header of the srf file you posted and renamed it as sanjesh evo wagon.bin.

You can do this yourself when you read the file in ECUFlash by saving it using File > Save ROM as > save as type > raw ROM file (*.bin).

Save the XML files I have attached into your C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo folder before opening your ROM in ECUFlash and this will allow you to read and change the basic settings.

if you want a more fully detailed XML including the auto trans settings send a PM and money to merlin.oz
Attached Files
File Type: xml
89960000.xml (17.3 KB, 0 views)
File Type: xml
88770005.xml (7.5 KB, 0 views)
File Type: bin
sanjesh evo wagon.bin (512.0 KB, 0 views)

Thanks for your help, much appreciated. It didn't tell me the ROM ID when I saved it so had no clue what XML to look for. Would it tell me what ROM it is when saved as a bin file?

That's because you have to look inside the unknown ROM file in the right spot. Get HxD hex editor from http://www.mh-nexus.de Open your unknown.bin file and read block 0xF52 - 0xF55. That is the ROM ID.

I dont mean to intrude on someones thread but what does it mean when it says "inherits 88590015" cause my ECUFlash is telling me that and I dont know what that means. I am new to ecuflash and tuning and im trying to learn as I go.

It means it relies on that XML and just adds stuff to it. So stuff in 88590015 + stuff in 88590715. It makes less work for the person compiling the XML's but can add confusion to the end user. I bumped your other thread, I think you should grab that Phenom XML, it will be fully self-contained (no inherits) and hopefully will make more sense.
