Anybody running the Red BB? Any difference in spool times?
Everyone seems to be on full boost after 4000. Dyno sheet on FP website shows its all on at 3700. Just curious as to what sorta revs the Red really starts to pull?

The Red can make some serious power at 25psi.

On a car I just tuned it made 500whp at 25psi on e85.

My vd numbers were 461/374 at 25 psi. Im going to put the car on the dyno and see what it makes but its a blast to drive. 500hp at the same boost w e85 sounds like fun though also.

There was a fueling issue with his car. The fuel pressure was too much and was causing the car to lean out an extreme amount. We replaced the line with a -6AN line and it solved his fueling problem. He was stuck at the 460whp mark before the line change.

I have had both, the BB unit makes the JB seem sluggish for sure. Especially around town. Drag racing you won't notice a thing. Transient response is what the BB unit has.

Man I really have to find out what's wrong with my car. My fp red evo 9 on m2 I can't seem to get past 370ish on VD at 25psi. Car won't take any timing at 24-25 psi. 7-8* max by redline.

Wish my my customer with his evo8 had your red... we would make 400whp+ easy on pump gas.

its still noticeable at the track going from journal to ball bearing. you can recover boost with each shift quicker (transient response), and build more boost off the line easier. it is definitely noticeable just cruising around town also as you said.

i would look into the following:

1. boost leak
2. bad tank of fuel
3. maybe you're reading your virtual dyno number as vd and not dynojet?
4. your FMIC may not be up for the task and needs replaced with a better core design.
5. possibly the exhaust system is severely bottlenecked/clogged somewhere with your vehicle.

I added 5 gal of vp 110 just to rule out gas. I have a greddy tic exhaust, 3" DP. Ported exh mani and turbine housing with jmfab o2 housing. A HFC but unsure of the brand.
Only thing I can think of is the AMS knock off FMIC. I know everyone is going to say ditch it and I do plan on upgrading but seems like people make over 400 just fine with these and so did the guy I bought it from.
If they are that bad would I be better off going back to oem fmic until I can get an ETS 3.5" or something?
I've done a boost leak test and so have 2 other shops and nothing found.
I do have the VD set to dynojet. The power on the graph just doesn't make much more power past 5500. It's peak is after 5500 but doesn't climb all that much.
I made 340 on stock turbo stock cams

Oh could it be my RC1000 injectors? I did get them used. If one was not spraying correctly would that cause low timing due to possible detonation?

Ok so I found my throttle body seals r leaking. How bad is that leak with regards to power? Also my stock 9 bov opens at 27ish psi so that why anything over 27 wasn't making power. Still not sure why I get knock at 25 psi and 1-2* timing at peak.
