Boost leaks hurt power a lot. what happens is, the turbo has to work harder then it normally should to keep pressure in the system, so in turn you're overworking the turbo and making your entire setup less efficient and creating a lot more heat.

The knock off FMIC can be killing the power also. I've seen 50whp~ gains from just FMIC swaps on 93octane. the FMIC is very important with 93octane to make good power.

yes, but i really doubt that is the issue. but if one injector is not spraying as it should be that cylinder can run leaner/hotter then the rest and cause issues. i would send them to FIC and get them flow tested to be safe. its probably not your issue, but im sure they could use a clean up.

Thank you for all your input and response. Ill change out the throttle body seals and start looking for a better fmic. Would the stock fmic be better then the 3.5" ams knock off? The inlet temps and pipes are very cool in the far side of the fmic and pipe but not sure how good the flow is through it and I'm assuming that's where the problem would be.

no. im sure your knock off is more effective then the small stock fmic, unless the aftermarket one is clogged up.

throttle body shaft seals leaking is a pretty big leak, you will gain spool and more power.

no problem at all. if you need any parts or assistance feel free to pm me.

I have some numbers with the new fp red BB. At the moment we are able to get around 460 whp uncorrected, but we have problems at high revs, the power drops around 6000 rpm, see the progression:

460 whp uncorrected (black line), at 4000 rpm around 220whp:

We work on improving low numbers, see the difference....440 whp uncorrected (black line), and at 4000 rpm 310 whp:

Also see the temperature, around 93 fahrenheit.

Now we take out the head and try to improve it, also new exhaust and exhaust manifold, s90 tb, we will see....

HUGE power loss here, HUGE, I had mine leaking and went from 340 to 367 stock turbo.

Get them fixed ASAP and also get a new BOV that holds man, what are you doing here?

Here are my results.
Real Street performance tune
88K stock engine/cams/coils
FP Red DBB
FP manifold
ID1300's
Walbro 450
Tomei full Exhaust
RSP built trans with 4.11 and evo 8 gearing
RSP 4" intake tube into a Kansai Service Carbon Fiber intake box
ETS 3.5" intercooler*
AMS pan
Pump E85

The Red does require porting of the wastegate entry. It used to make 26psi above 5000 and now that its ported it makes 22-23. The 450 pump is out of fuel at 500whp for me on the stock wiring. I'm going to rewire it or use a Boost a pump if I decide to go higher. I normally run the car at 440-460 around town.

great powerband. i suspect the 4.11 fd is helping a bit with the fairly early boost threshold. also very impressive if its 500 whp at 23 psi.

Thanks! It does spool well, it makes 20psi by 3600rpm in 3rd on the dyno/street. It makes about around 10whp per pound of boost after 23psi. The 500whp run was at 28-29 after 6000rpm.

23=430
24=440
25=450
26=460
27=470
28=480+
29=490/500
