ExtremeDSM,

Well I guess you were serious when you threatened me with either giving you free parts or you would post your lies on EVOm.

Dan hung up on you because you called, accused him of being a crook and a liar and were yelling. I did not give you the run around. You also yelled at me, I some how stayed calm and listened to what you had to say. I then put you on hold, asked Dan what the situation was and then came back to the phone in a timely manner to tell you that you were wrong and that the trans was rebuilt as you requested, which was Stage 1 and includes:

1,2,3,4,5 and reverse syncros and upgraded pins, re-shimmed, two new bearings and cleaned. The hubs are also polished.

As I explained to you on the phone in 20 years we have not screwed anyone. We do hundreds of rebuilds here a year and you never hear of something such as your fantasy of what happened.

You are the same guy that came in to the shop and moaned and cried about how bad Dog Box racing screwed you on the car that you bought from them, it stood out in our memory then and still does.

We do NOT drive cars when they are dropped off here for most work. If it is not a drivability problem it is not driven. So your car was dropped off, put on the lift and the trans was pulled. It would be completely ignorant of us to pull a trans out of the car, short cut a rebuild on it and put it back in hoping it would still shift. IF there was a problem we'd have to do all the labor again, obviously not worth the risk to save a few hundred dollars in syncro's.

Dan also offered to have you send the trans back over to us and told you if it was anything we did he would cover it. You told him, "I was beating the hell out of the car when it broke so I doubt it is anything you did." Then you chose to pull the trans yourself.

We still don't understand what a dirty syncro looks like. I can take a picture of the scrap barrel we have here if you'd like to see it, it has hundreds of used syncro's in it we've taken out of trans rebuilds, they are all shiney.

This thread will probably get deleted because the vendor requests. That's how evoM works, its more of a vendor forum than a community forum.

I'm a friend that cares I guess.

I'm not making any accusations except that if you want something done right, you have to research and do it yourself.

I am pretty sure it is 20 years of learning how to take shortcuts and save money and make even more money than they should be.

Need I say more............... Second picture is the best, can you pick out the replaced syncro? These are exactly how they were taken out of the trans. The last 3 pictures are of 2nd gear.

Pics are WAY too small, Im gunna doubt that a vendor who is constantly on here providing this side with endless information would pull something like that on a customer. Im sure 90% of his business comes from this website so i doubt he would skimp you on something as small as that.

We don't need people with their noses up Buschurs butt. He does not get 90% of his business from this site.

I made sure the pictures were big enough for people to see the big screw job I got. Please tell me how the one syncro is clean and the others look like they do? If you can explain that, and there is a reasonable explination, I am wrong. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is common scense!!! If you say otherwise, you are just plain not playing with a full deck!
