DYNOJET VS DYNODYNAMICS... Round XX
lol... i agree. A lower DD number is great when you goto the track and pull fast times.
Better to have a low number and go faster than expected, than have a DynoJet millon HP and do slow times
so long as the DJ is producing the same numbers each time it doesn't really matter does it.
dyno's are a tuning tool - not really a comparison tool - especially different day/different dyno comparisons

In theory yes. But in reality, dyno sheets are compared all the time on this board to help us the consumer make better decisions. Also, if the DJ produces the same numbers everytime, and so does the DD, why should you not be able to compare them?
AMAZING test man!!! Congrats....

This explains how i trap 121mph on a 3400lbs EVO with "only" 372awhp and a half decent 1.78 60ft...
(11.76sec @ 121mph w/ 1.78 60ft weighting 3400 lbs with driver on pump and full lift shifts)

There is a local car here that went on a DD and Dynojet. It was not with in an hour, but the next night.. which was very similar.
These are both hot pulls, same tank of gas, and No Change what so ever to the tune.
Dyno Dynamics made 463 Hp (1.0 correction)
Dyno Jet made 563 Hp
Exactly 100 HP difference..

I wish that the owner would post the two dynosheets... Along with this thread it would be the best examples on the DD Vs. DJ drama...
