I found his tune not to be impressive. He was running 12.7, 12.6s trapping @ 112-113 (DynoFlash Tune)
Tony did better with his ix turbo. 12.2 @ 113.......
This past weekend at a local event I made minimal adjustments to his tune, Tony ran a 12.0 @114.
Could have gotten him lower times but:
1- Wideband not connected.
2- His tactrix cable was acting up on us.
3- His timing map needs to be re-scaled.
4- Fuel map needs to be re-scaled.

I actual sent a PM and I found the numbers not to impressive there is a whole lot of power to be made there on pump gas. I told him to go to another dyno either local or The Shop in Norwalk do a pull and log the ecu to see if there are any improvements to be made on the tuneOriginally Posted by partyboy1122

No? If it's properly scaled and you plan on running higher boost int he future, 1000's are fine.

There is plenty of improvements to be made.
Once he plugs his wideband in, we will be doing some serious re-adjusting.

Well partyboy you take care of my boy Tony. I wish I knew he was going to get tuned by DynoFlash and when he told me about everything that went down that day I felt bad. I would have advised for him to go elsewhere and get tuned. Oh well we live and learn that is what life is all about.Originally Posted by partyboy1122

If he runs race fuel at any point then the 1k injectors will be what he needs to really get the turbo to shine. The FP Red loves alot of boost and the guys who run it on race fuel and pump usually run 1k injectorsOriginally Posted by MissionSk8r21

yea ill eventually get a proper boost gauge in and reinstall my wideband. then well see whats up and also ill use a differnt cable lol

nice results. you should really tell your story about what happened that day, I'm sure there are lots of people, including myself, interested in hearing about it.
