i figured i would do that, i thought the volume of air would be the same just the turbo would be working no where near as hard as it was...

Well yeah, from my understanding, you had it tuned with a 9 turbo, and a plastic 8 DV?

Then replaced the valve, with a 9. If its running off the WG, then its tuned for 18?

But whatever its tuned for is what its tuned for, the bov should not matter, set the boost.

The hot weather will make it run like garbage too, or seem way slower, turbo's ( or really any car) -
cold air = good
hot air = bad.

make sure you have no boost leaks, good plugs, car is mechanically sound, you have a wideband then just get a mellon tune. you will be VERY happy.

ok..so ive herd NOTHING from TTR.....so im in a limbo, loggeds my car and it running funky, so i need a retune for sure. As of now im set to get tuned by Sean Ivey with my friend this upcoming thursday.

my rev limiter is set at 8k.. i think. ive never hit it. i always shift before 7600rpms.

*the kelford 272 cams are VERY aggressive, it lopes alot more than HKS 272, so it makes driving around in bumper to bumper extremely annoying*

on the plus side, it sounds rediculous

I would have thought my car would have made in the neighberhood of 360whp

nothing would please me more than to blame it on the plastic valve and the 101 degree tuning weather

what do you guys think
I seen your car it has an evo 8 turbo actually i was there whene the tuner checked out the turbo

and no, its a nine turbo with an FP 18psi wastegate, the wastegate is the reason they thought it was a green. i have pictures of that turbo on and off the car
