Oil pan needs to be removed then it gets tedious.

It's nice for us UK guy's to see some realistic WHP numbers that are comparable to over here and people in the US putting some boost in with straight 93.

The dyno of choice in the evo comunity here in the uk is also Dyno Dynamics. However anything other than CF: Shoot_44 gets frowned upon here for comparrison as with good results people believe other parameters have been "fiddled". CF: Shoot_44 locks to factory perameters so that comparrisons can be made across the world on any Dyno Dynamics.

That said we also have seen 400 to 420 Whp with FP Reds on Dyno Dynamics on equivelant to 93oct US. The big difference is that less than a hand full i know of dare to run that on a stock con rods over here. Lot's of people have stronger floating pin rods machined into the stock pistons above 330 Whp. Eeverything over here for evos seems to cost almost twice as much as the US so i guess there is less incentive to take the risk.

Thanks for the information. This car has some real nice supporting mods. The motor flows as good as it can with an un-ported head.

We also installed arp head studs and rod bolts. If you have neither of those we won't push a car much passed 375whp on a 1.0CF.

With that said, the cheap insurance really helps out.

I wanted to get rod bolts but I said f' it I plan on building the motor in the next few years. Right now the motor is running very safe and I'll add some meth and it will be fine at 500-550 on a 1.2 CF which if I remembered how to do the math should be 415-460 on 1.0CF.

Not too shabby there Pete! With 100% Methanol injection it should easily be in the 440whp range too I bet. What's up man its Eric from NJ.?

Nice. Meth and 35psi sounds good to me. Should easily hit those goals!

What's up! Methanol and 30-32psi should get this car in the 440whp range on our dyno no problem. The last one we finished had basically the same mods with a labonte meth kit(100% meth), it made 445whp/440wtq at 31/32psi. 1.0CF
