VAPORWARE.
When someone educated comes on here in an educated manor I would hope they would no be labled a bully or hater.

When they come on here simply saying "Well I already did that so its not cool anymore"... that comes off as hating.

I think on the first or second page it was pointed out that these are engine hp numbers (turned out to be inflated ones at that possibly). Maybe that should have been a warning flag but everyone was still enjoying the new parts.

Slowly things seem to have unraveled... Parts shown that are not for evo's claimed as such, parts possible made by others and shown here, and a lack of anything used by anyone stateside. Educated people asking educated questions and not receiving solid answers has begun to be the final blow.

I don't think that engine specs or transmission specs, etc. would be given out by anyone. Hell a bunch of companies don't release cam specs. So to me that is mute, but all of this other vaporware is getting old.

I don't think these pictures are helping you any, best way is next time you have a runner to weld up shoot a. Video, then show hi resolution pictures of only that weld to make your case.

The mock up picture (first one) isn't even the same manifold as the second and third pictures, and in the second pics we see some welding, but from the third picture it kind of looks like they made a spark on a manifold that was already welded (that spot is noticeably blacker) and the last close up picture looks to be yet another different manifold.. I'm not so sure, maybe you could explain to us non welders

you cant even tell me these are the same manifolds...clearly you can see one pic where the jig is welded directly to the flange...on the other its welded to a plate the flange is bolted to...and then look at the writing on the bends...one pic has it on the number 1 runner and then the next pic its on a completely different runner

+1,000

When this thread started and there were haters, I was on ETs side and wanted to give them a chance to show what they can do.

But after 2.5 years of all these pics and all this smart talk then no results, silly lies when it comes to parts, no one stateside being able to get there hands on these parts and no testing showing that these mega $$ part are even worth it, Im like the others, Im over this.

That wire feed on the tig doesn't look near close enough to the torch.
Since you guys make your own merge collectors why don't you use one with these manifolds?
I'm not sold that you guys weld these, and if you do, it really isn't anything to brag about.

Damn, this thread took an overwhelming turn to the negative. To be honest, I wanted to believe as there is some cool pictures and it's given me some good ideas for my own parts. But even back on the first page or so when he posted composite rods I started to wonder what the hell was going on. Those rods are for a motor with an assembled crank as there is no rod cap, which certainly won't work for an EVO. Then the 550WHP stock turbo cam testing dynochart made me think, "man, I wonder if my car would break 650WHP on their dyno."

Even if they are welding a manifold in those shots, those good welds SURE AS HELL weren't done by the same person.

That manifold has about my quality welding, which is a couple hundred hours...if that...over a span of 7 years. It sure as hell is not the work of a professional. It's so obvious it's not welded by the same person, it's hilarious to see it trying to be passed off as such.

You mean the roots-type supercharger that is like 80% efficient at 40 psi and 600HP?

I think this comment is of bad form from somebody with a lack of complete understanding of the system approach...as you obviously have to also have the "Roller-Wave" pistons to get the full effect...
