I think Tim said what a lot of us are thinking... and he said it well.

Still, I don't quite understand where all the doubting comes from.
The things that were shown in this thread surely support the higher numbers then we've seen before.
Surely nobody thinks that can be done on the same budget right?
So, what's it then? Jealousy? Different busines interests? What is it?

Best regards,
Walter

Some of the parts shown earlier clearly were NOT evo parts and therefore served no purpose other than to try and impress muppets. Anyone with an attention to detail will have spotted the discrepencies.
Shiney parts do not impress me. I know some F1 design engineers on a personal level and share suppliers with them. I live in England and its a small place.
Jealousy is a trait i do not suffer, sorry.
Business interests? I have none in the evo world nor the turbo world. The evo is my hobby.
I was hoping to see something of interest and learn something new, i have no interest in criticising for the sake of it or joining a clan. The only reason for my last post here was after seeing other people being shot down for daring to question Spyros or plain ignored when asking what i felt were relevant questions. I'm sure he is just too busy to deal with everyone and perhaps the language barrier is partly to blame.
The title is "highest horsepower" That's a fairly bold and some would say arrogant claim to make which naturally will lead to people being expected to be accountable for such a bold statement. There are a lot of BS dyno claims in this world and then there are tuning firms that win races. I wish Spyros ever luck with his quest and if he is who i think he is then he will deliver some impressive results i'm sure.

Good day.

Questions that are asked like the ones you are asking Tim are good ones. Others who simply come on here and talk trash not so much.

There a small discrepancy in the description. The car had 250 km trap speed which is 155.3 mph and not 159.4 mph as stated which is 256.4 km...

At over 150 mph traps, 4 mph difference is BIG in terms of needed power...

we had 162mph with this car last year. with just 1200hp.
This setup is capable of +400hp. We test it yesterday again also with another project also at same power level of 1200 and trying to setup launch control both. In 20 days we will rise the boost to 1400 - 1600hp

Did AWD state on page 3 that they see 8's and mid 160's with 780bhp and full interior? Perhaps you should check the brakes aren't binding on your subaru ......

As I said check page 3. Here is one of the quotes from his signature. World's Quickest Evo 8 Street Car - 8.98@156mph. Is that clearer?

No hate here just observing claims
Signature for that trap says street car and awd said in the post full interior. So full weight 4 cylinder road car not stripped drag car. Subarus have done 8's too with same power

Why don't you give us the scale weight on that subaru. We already know its trap and mph.

3240lbs total weight with driver. i will upload pics tomorrow to see it.
Close to 1200 (1000whp) we had 162mph. we hope to have now 171-175mph from this setup.
We will see in 20 days.
