from what i understand it was boost cut and it was being caused by the rom 94170015, so steer clear of that rom if your car is an original 96420008 rom.

no worries. I am going to patch the rom soon with all the crap i had on the old one. to remove the check engine light u just disconnect the negative from battery for 1minute then its gone.. thats a temp fix. Im going to put the emission patches on the rom tho. its just the rear o2 throwing the code

i know exactly what it is thats why i said why not do the cel fix or i heard and was told you can turn it off in the ecu along with the p300 misfire code. So you dont have to worry about it anymore. was just wondering why it was not done then joking of course

Ok i want to first respond and say i accidently had NLTS enabled on the rom sean tuned and thats what was causing my bog / hesitation..... in no way was it his tuning, because the car pulls like ****ing mad right now and clean shifts.......

I also want to say rom 96420008 is the biggest POS rom for a evo ever it made my car run like total **** when i flashed it temp with seans tune transfer.

And last I want to apologize to sean for making him think there was a problem when it was my dumbass not turning off tephra options!!!!!!!

you know that youtube video i pulled the logs and the VDR only said 450/340tq (dynojet) so that was a detune because we pulled timing for a safe tune until i get built motor in my numbers in my sig were like 485/475 dynojet on VDR....... im not risking the core right now tho, thats like burning $1200 for fun. I'll have the 2.3 L in there in 2wks

Sean

does this mean you would need two tunes, one for winter gas and another one when it warms up?
