We do not want or seek out any issues with you Brian. We do not think our car's thread is the proper venue for other vendors to enter to try and showcase or pompously toot their own horn. If they would like to do it, they should make their own thread where they can talk about their own car to their heart's content.

I can appreciate you selling the car as your child comes into the world and can respect the responsibility you have taken to put your priorities in order.

All the best.

Thanks, agreed, and well said. My son has top priority and I have changed alot. Regardless of the specifics, I respect the amount of work it takes to get an evo into 9 second territory with big mph. So for that, congrats are in order. I respect the people that go all out with weight reduction and I respect the ones that go for full street trim. Obviously there is always a fine line and everyone has a different opinion of what "street car" means. I've driven my car around for hours on slicks LOL.. But in all honesty if I were to do it again, and I might, it will be a full true street car to avoid most debates. That and a roll cage suuks in a street car Good luck with it Scott...

My signature speaks for itself..

NO dynojet HP records and a ton of track records.. In 2 years i havent had 1 post questioning my HP #'s on any car we have so makes life much easier on me and i can work each day with a clear conscience.. We dont sell dyno records we sell track results..

Mike
Well put Mike. Also, I love the signature!

Like I said a private track day would be great.
Scott, people have a hard time believing the numbers that come out of the Dyno you own. Do you think people would believe the numbers that come out of a track you borrowed?

Probably not. Just sayin'.

This thread has been anything but constructive since the 2nd page. In fact this thread has sent evom into the crap hole. We got vendors laying into each other left and right.

Everyone is fighting like a bunch of pissed off middle school girls, the arguing has gone no where but down hill. This looks more like a political debate between pissed off hippies and raging rednecks then a car enthusiast forum.

TTP has made it very clear they have no intention of dynoing somewhere else or getting their dyno fixed whether it needs it or not.

Lots of people have expressed their disgust with the numbers it makes but you can't force TTP to do something they dont want to.

Everyone should just go their own ways. People will continue to use their favorite tuner/vendor regardless of the situation at hand. The amount of hate coming out this thread is ridiculous.

Sorry if I missed it, but how do the 1600's idle and drive with the stock ECU's limited number of cells. Is it noticeably worse than an AEM car, or is it similar?

Thanks!

So those give you more tuning cells? That's awesome. Is there any reason to use an AEM these days?

Yes the bigmaps are ridiculously large. I would gather to say that there is more resolution with them than the AEM standalone.

Yes we made it out Friday night where we got wheelspin on the cold 7" tires the first pass and 2nd pass everything was going well until 4th wouldn't connect so we coasted to 10.9 @ 98mph but it was not slow enough not to violate NHRA rollbar rules 9.99 and slower.

Here is a video from Weds. I think we broke a rocker on this pass in the valvetrain because the AFR richened up on the back half.
