BBK Full 91 octane Evo 9

Straight Arizona 91 octane. VDR graph with smoothing at 6 in Evo-M mode. The log was taken on a completely flat road, outside air temp 67° F.

Mods:

BBK Full Turbo
3" TBE
3 Port Mac BCS
Perrin Intake
AMS LICP
Perrin UICP
Ported Stock Exhaust Manifold
PTE 1200's
AMS Front Mount
Kelford 272's

PSI based boost at 24 psi.

Power would obvisouly be lower or higher depending on the dyno mode setting, but this is what the Evo-M mode was designed for.

**Edit** Added a new graph below per Boosted Tuning's suggestion

nice power. Its odd to me however that the peak power comes on so late in the power band. I would expect more power at around 5500rpms. maybe just the vdr? congrats

I think alot of it might be VDR, but the car as actually always made peak power right around redline. Since it is a 6 speed, perhaps a 4th gear pull would look better.

Nice hp number, but I was hoping to see a little more torque personally. Your setup is very close to what I will have shortly...

How's it feel?

Feels great, Overall it runs awesome on the street. Its not a big turbo high hp car, but its what I wanted for the time being. The power jump at the end is not nearly as bad with a little more smoothing either.

That spike at the end of the HP plot is likely incorrect.

Use "max RPM trim" to correct it. You'll need to set it about 100-300 before the end of the log. Try all the setting and you'll see a trend. That is the correct curve.

Also, use dynojet mode. Its hard to compare Evo-M mode to anything since its an imaginary dyno.

Edited first post. I kept the first graph up too so people can see the difference in the settings. Power and curve stayed the same with a 7700 and 7600 rpm max trim. The run actually went to 7844 rpm.

Also bumped smoothing up to 10.

Try starting your WOT pull at a lower rpm, like 2600-2800 RPM, instead of 3,000+. Your starting it a bit too late IMO. And what does your boost taper to?

Obvisouly if I was tuning or going for the fasted spool I would do so, I just finally had a log on a flat road so I thought I'd post it. Boost holds 24 psi to 8000 with the 3 port. WGDC in the low 80's by 8000.

Those are huge injectors for 91. Switching to E-85 anytime soon? Just curious.

Do you think your powerband is so high due to the Kelford cams?

Excellent graphs! Great street setup! Crazy how power keeps going up after 7000rpm, that's the only thing that seems weird. Even with that though, power looks just dandy for those mods.

Yeah I have been running e85 in the car for almost 3 years. I have just been playing with 91 lately. No meth. Fixed a few boost leaks today as well so Ill have to make a new graph and see if I gained anything.

Ill be calling you tomorrow Mitch.
