Since your tuned on e70 how much will it effect the tune whenever it becomes true e85 and will it effect it in a bad way?

I would guess not, but he could theoretically get more out of the change with a proper tune.

The switch to e85 will lean the A/F out a point or two, Aaron is so conserviative on their ethanol tune I'm not worried about it. The car will most likely pick up a few more hp as well.

The split is pretty easy to calculate for the fuel change-

E70- 0.5 richer, 2* less timing at peak torque same out the top
E85- Tune is zero'd out for max power
E98- 0.5 leaner, 2* more timing at peak torque same out the top

Or something like that depending on combination.

Correct, I punched down the pressure relief valve on both fuel pumps.

Hey Johnny sorry but how reliable are the pumps when you do this?
I have double pumper also and was thinking of possibly going down the same path.
I have read it done before but thought it was too unreliable so not many people do it.

Cheers mate

I haven't heard about any walbro failures directly blamed on the pressure relief valve mod.

plenty of regular dead walbros though, It would be interesting to see how many of the dead pumps had the mod done!

no failures here doing that but it wasn't necessary until I tried to go beyond 600awhp on e85, I also needed a fuel rail
