Hmmm...post didnt stick.

Its where I started the pull and transient time to full boost (and torque). One is 2500 the most recent is 3000. Takes the same time approx to get to boost, so torque moves over a touch. I didnt realise I had been making pulls from 2500 on it before.

Hmmm, so on the pumpgas pull, you started the pull at 2500rpm and on the e85 pull, you started at 3000? I'll have to dig up the log files and take a closer look at them.

I guess I hadn't really put 2+2 together that what rpm you go WOT on a dyno pull can make such a differance.

This means that without the log file to compare rpm vs TPS, any comparison of spool time is pretty much meaningless?

Yeah Aaron fails on back to back testing for the day. If you compare both logs though from 100% TPS to xx amount of boost with the time index it will tell you the same thing as making the pulls from the same rpm (in the event Aaron fails).

Not sure why I thought I had started the pull from 3k before. I almost always do my pulls on any turbo larger than stock from 3k, but there is a possibility I had initially been looking for a low rpm almost lugged pull to see what the turbo really does on the street.

You are going to go from a 6262 to the Black? Most people go the other way around!

From recent experiences driving the car, It is proving to be an excellent street sweeper! The early spool on my combo puts me out in front early and then she just keeps walking away!

guaranteed chubby!

John, glad to see you still love the 2.4 Black. I will be getting my car on Tuesday. My cams and hotside has not shown up yet so the dyno on Tuesday will be with HKS cams for now. The only difference in our cars will be the compression and 02 dump. It should give us a good comparrison of how well the dump really helps out.

You still running at 37psi? No shaft play or problems yet?

I'm really looking forward to comparing your numbers to my setup.

Still running the same e85 settings as the original post in this thread, the only issue is so far is traction!

Some gas stations (up here anyways) sell E85 year round. Definitely worth checking into.

That's ridiculous power!
