Came back from where?? Headway??

Bobby told me so much about your ride man,,, I look forward to meeting you!

You make me laugh. The shortblock was machined and assembled by Headway Performance in the Bronx. My shortblock was then installed into the car by Raif (a fellow member on here) who is from CT.

You should come to CT to finish up my tune

Same thing is happening to one of the outside pistons at TDC(forget which one) When the engine was built the head was left untouched just had the cams swapped. It has the same dual springs he bought the car with as well as the factory(yellow/brown?) valve seals.

Did you find your bug?

Actually when the testing was done it wasn't done right. It was redone using snap on tools and the correct way and there was great compression throughout and no leaky valves(helps when each cylinder is done at TDC)....my guess is the cams along with the combination of a few other things...im going to bet as soon as he gets a set of real cams it will fix a lot of issues.

So last night I had the opportunity to measure the lobes on various cams. Measurements as follows: Stock- 35.9mm. Cosi M2s- 36.3. Buschur 280s- ~37.0

it seems as though I have something to the equivelant of stock cams in the car.

I am now in search of (mivec) cams. Preferably in this order: S2s, M2s, M3s, Kelford 272s, Fp4r. PM me with what you got.

I appreciate you guys hanging tough with your Mate and hopefully getting to the bottom of this.

Kind of an unforseen outcome since Bobby swore they were s3's when we started the tune

Get the next set of cams in there from a reputable member/vendor on this forum and get strapped up for round 2.
