SD is a helluva drug.
I can make the load what I want it to be by playing with the MAP to Load VE table
The car picks up power with more timing still and loses when I pull it. The timing is what the car was doing on pumpgas, just with more boost. On Johhny's car I had around 2-3 more degrees in it still at even more boost on a smaller turbo (Black). Without checking the log I cant be 100% certain but I believe his timing curve was also more aggressive meaning it gets to peak timing way sooner.
I went all the way to -5* on the timing and the knock was still there and the voltage didnt change...just a loss of torque.

very nice. i am thinking about converting mine. i just yanked all the other crap out with emissions, so i guess i should soon.
i had a hell of a time with phantom knock in my car. took me so long to get it under control.

1500 miles and I am not gonna go to kill mode for awhile. 708whp is plenty for now, I like to drive the car and running it at 600whp is plenty for a daily. Y'all could do a collection so if anything breaks I dont feel bad when I push it and something weird happens.

4.529 is factory. In order to get the car in the rev range it needs its the only way to make the mph come back without a shift to fifth. I havent personally tried it so I cant say from personal experience. However I do know Shep runs the 4.11 in his 2.3 street car that runs high 9s low 10s at 142ish. Seems to be equivalent e.t. to mph to be me but like I said I havent tried it, just read about it at this point. I know either Dave or one of his customers ran the 4.11 and it didnt seem to work as well as I recall.

So tonight I fixed the way I had the boost controller routed and got rid of the spike. While its fun to have the extra torque it didnt give me the fresh feeling about trying to push the car on E85 (gas too for that matter) since it had to overshoot the target if even for just a little bit.

I can still always turn it up to 26 on pump and see what its all about I suppose
