I know I did... It was the thought that counted, though, thanks! I will have a new work email while I'm gone. Can you send me a pm with your email please!

Whens this Beast going on Kill mode? I still say itll make 850awhp at 40+psi.

And why cant any of the GREAT tuners be near me? Im left to street tune my own car or drive 4-8 hours to get to even a reputable tuner.

Well it is now around 700 miles old, so I am going to enjoy it, race it, and then revisit the dyno. I wanna do all the boost solenoid fixes that Johnny sent me and see if I can get it run consistent controllable boost (works on his 2.3) and then when I dont have to worry about an insane spike to get to the boost I want I will go for some more.

AEM tru-boost. Its not boost holding so much as a spike and not holding flat. Johnny sent me the diagram he pieced together from 3 manuals (AEM not being one of them) that shows the proper control on the solenoid. I have seen it done but didnt realise that it was causing my issue until him and I talked about it yesterday.

I'm going to re-run all my tru-boost vacuum lines too along with making them shorter dude. I know your running external wg so your ports will be different then mine on the aem solenoid, but what else did Johnny mention? I'm trying to think of how I can get my car to hold more boost up top. Maybe wg actuator or maybe preload idk.

well you seen my log right? how it only holds 35 for 4k to 4.6k and goes to hold 34 from 4.8 to 4.9k and then 33 to 5k to 5.7k and 31 for 6k to 6.4k and 30 from 6.5k to 7.3k and 29 from 7.4k to 7.6k ----------- how can a car make power with boost holding that bad? does the hallman pro suck this bad? or is this normal? or what? if i should be using something else let me know i will buy it asap.

edit i might have the 18psi actuator from fp also, i will route direct to wg next time cars out and check, but could the actuator be causing it also?

I am assuming I can post the .jpg-

I think for the most part you wont need to do this install direction unless you are having a problem with erratic spikes. Jeremy, I think you will benefit though.

Thats a function of turbo sizing and back pressure. I make good power with taper, peak boost and boost at peak power are completely seperate generally. Also "boost" is irrelevant, I can run 15psi and make more power than someone at 40. Its airflow at peak power (and peak VE which enables the engine to use more of whats there) that is critical.

Ok so if I understand correctly we should take our boost source for the solenoid pre-throttle body or UICP and not at the turbo outlet? I followed the same AEM directions as everyone else but I can see how taking the boost source after the intercooler piping could help http://www.aempower.com/images/produ...%2030-4350.pdf

Sorry for the off-topic, I can take it to PM if needed, I was just thinking others could learn too. I guess it's still on topic though cuz it has to do with your crazy setup

i ran the aem/mac solenoid with a hydra ems and had trouble with a normal curved map. ran it off strait duty cycle vs. rpm and it didnt vary anymore than .5 psi. dont know how the tru boost works though so i might be blabbing into thin air.
