Ok Chad is building my motor complete drop in- will be running a BBK-B on high boost.
100mm Winberg crank, carillo hbeam pros and cp pistons. That's just a taste.

Will be a couple of months off but I will post the pump and E85 tunes for you to look at.

That should be nuts. Plan to run around 33psi? Huge top end with monster torque in the works!

Be patient and stay tuned, hopefully I`ll have some better results then
I hope you get better numbers, please post !!! .. would be nice to know that this Hyped up Turbo really has huge baLLz !!!

Please keep in mind that the BBK-B is NOT all about posting big dyno numbers; like all of CBRD's modified turbos, it is carefully tuned to provide the best possible combination of quick spool/minimum lag while also providing maximum AREA UNDER THE CURVE, or usable power across a wide RPM range.

A turbo designed to achieve these divergent objectives is very important on cars that will primarily be used outside of the drag strip.

The BBK-B is unlikely to post bigger peak dyno numbers than a comparable build with, say, a FP Black. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. The BBK-B will still have "huge ballz" in the real world.

I was going to but David didn't want to run with some of the parts I wanted to, respect to him he wanted to run with what he trusts and knows.

I prefer to be a little different and, have had previous bad experiences with certain brands in V8's.

Chad is building alot of my bolt on parts and frankly this should make it easier to match my motor in that regard.

My buddy just bought FP Black cause he wanted be faster( I`ll post his numbers compared to mine) .My reason to buy this turbo is exactly what EGbeater mentioned. OK I`lll say this. This turbo is decent on the street with 2.0. I do NOT have a lag like with a big turbos ( good thing) but I do not have a torque at low rpm as well like stock so I think BBK Full IS a better choice on the street BUT I will also say this I`m addicted to WOT now (you can tell you switch to bigger turbo) something you never experienced with stock turbo. Yes there are trade offs but you gotta ask yourself what are your priorities . I`m sure after a retune my numbers are more impressive and I`m building a 2.3 stroker next winter so good choice for me. The best tip I can give for anybody buying CBRD turbo If you autocross occasionally or like to scare people at 3,000 rpm(plenty of torque) with your full atmospheric BOV go witha FULL but If you like the feel of a nice pull at top end and you are willing to sacrifice some low end torque, transient response and on off boost performance go with B hands down. Good luck with your choice guys

I still think a 2.3 with the B would be a killer setup!

Well said. I want to build a torque monster and slam people back in the passenger seat like a big block V8 so the Full is perfect for me. But cannot wait to see more 93 octane data on the B. what is the hold up???

RESULTS !!! Last week AMS 364 whp/339 wtq at 25 PSI. Today`s BeyondRedline`s 385 whp/ 347 wtq at 28 PSI although I will say today first run on Dynojet that suppose to be equal to AMS was (349 whp/ 330 wtq)
I didn`t go for a peek power with this tune, I asked to adjust my adjustable cam gears toward low end ( 0 Exh. -1 Intake) Car feels and spools quite a bit better in my opinion and I`m very satisfied with this tune. For some people this result might be somewhat disappointing and myself for hoping for more satisfied overall but I think for larger turbothis is very street-able even with 2.0.

It looks like the BBK-Full might have suited your goals a little more. It would spool faster and probably not lose any power at that boost level.

It feels more streetable than before. Boost comes on sooner and feels a little more torque than before AMS tune at lower RPM`s. I got no lag but off boost stock turbo made more torque quicker, I`m sure Full would be better in this area but I wanted to have some snap at top end as well. Stroker Kit comin soon

^This makes me feel better about my Full decision...but if you are doing a stoker it is probably the better choice for you to go B. I am sure it will be an animal with a stroked/built motor and 31+psi.
