Ok, definitely getting sold on the idea of a BBK-B with the 2.3L LOL... That looks awesome. Hopefully my stock block and BBK-Full will be nice and happy for this season, because my wife will literally murder me if I tell her I'm doing an engine build now. Just got the Shep trans, custom cage etc.

My Full results are in my sig...

Dude. As soon as GSC gets me my freaking S2 cams (already ordered/paid for), my new motor will get slapped back in the car, broken in for 50 miles or so, and then get to DYNOING my BBK-B powered beast!!!

OK I got a results but numbers are sort of disappointing I`ll retune my car this Monday therefore not posting anything today and I`ll post 2 dyno graphs next week so you can compare them. I asked for conservative tune and AMS tuned me at 25 PSI(they didn`t want to push it more on stock block, weird) I talked to local shop and they `ll try to get me better number, told`em I wanna push it to 28 PSI I know this turbo and stock block is capable. Be patient and stay tuned, hopefully I`ll have some better results then

Wow only 25psi? The turbo isnt even working hard at that range. Im sure once you turn the boost up you'll see better results

Local shop? I was looking forward to seeing some good numbers from your tune so hopefully its not too disappointing.

So did Chris tune your car? I thought he did a good job on my last tune before Chad's here 2 weeks ago. that was 4+ years ago too so I am sure he has learned a ton since then. I certainly think the car should handle more than 25psi...but honestly, as Chad even said, that turbo is made to shine upwards of 30psi. And IMO, you at least want drop in pistons and rods around that level of boost. IDK, maybe I am paranoid. After you get better results let us know what both sets were just for our education.

Adding the rods and pistons might be a good idea depending on the torque it wants to make. I think around 28psi the block should be fine with a good tune.
