Yes, and yes. I don't hold 40psi at 8000rpm, but I think it'd be a lot lower than it is on a less optimized setup.

I run CBRD's O2/downpipe setup, and I also run a 3.5" catback with custom 3"-3.5" testpipe. Only thing hindsight has tought me is I wish I would have splurged and gone with titanium the first time. I want it lighter...

FWIW, I also run a small runner manifold. I'm curious what the difference would be with a large runner, now that I've maxed everything out, but still happy to prove that small runners get the job done.

Any news? How did you realize the turbo was failing? Pushing oil into the intake can be a symptom of overly high crankcase pressure.

^ What mrfred said. I run the same turbo and after reading this I pulled my intake pipe to check my turbo and everything seems fine except for a very small amount of oil in my intake pipe.

No news yet. It was sent in to CBRD yesterday. My shop notice alot of oil in the intercooler tracks, intake manifold area. I do have a robust catch can with a breather as well. Yeah, my car does have high crankcase pressure.

It drove fine on track and on the street. It is only when they took the turbo out where they noticed alot of shaftplay "in and out", "side to side", "up and down". So we decided to send it in and let CBRD/Chad figure it out what to do with it.
